Extra points
- participants of International Olympiads, the prize-winners of the IV stage of the All-Ukrainian student Olympiad and prize-winners of the III stage of the All-Ukrainian defence competitions of research works of the students, members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, from the profile disciplines that have taken place in the current academic year, are given 10 points to the competition credits, and if the competition credits of the entrant exceeds 200, it is set to 200.
- Professionally oriented youngsters, who graduated from the preparatory department of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv based on the full secondary education, also get extra points on the results of the final certification (from 10 to 20). The list of specialties is given in Appendix 2.10 of the Entrance Rules.
- The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, which is held in the current academic year, receive extra points (up to 20) when applying on the basis of complete general secondary education.
- The final score balances on the sectoral (SC) and rural (RC) coefficients by multiplying it by their multiplication, moreover: SC equals 1,02 for submitted applications with priority 1 and 2 on the specialty (specialization), which are provided in Appendix 2.6 of the Entrance Rules, and 1,00 in other cases; RC equals 1,02 for those, who registered in rural settlements that have received a full general secondary education in educational institutions located in the territory of rural settlements in the year of entry.
